With the fourth pick in the NFL Draft, things get….complicated.

The Atlanta Falcons were such a poor team all-around last year that this draft pick really could go many different ways.

The Falcons could draft someone like Penei Sewell to anchor the line and give Matt Ryan some much-needed protection that simply wasn’t here in 2020.

There is also the possibility of the Falcons getting another weapon for Ryan such as Kyle Pitts out of Florida or Ja’Marr Chase. With the current weapons on the roster though, the Falcons may be better spending this pick elsewhere.

There is a chance that the Falcons could also pick the best player available on defense to help a unit that ranked near the bottom of the league that year. While the debate about which player in the draft is best defensively, there’s no doubt that a player of Micah Parson’s athleticism could really help Atlanta in numerous ways on the field.

Last but not least, there are growing talks that a quarterback could be taken in this slot. Whether it be the Falcons selecting the eventual heir to Matt Ryan or another team trying to trade up for a player their future quarterback.
