Our Picks:

Avi: WR Devonta Smith, Alabama

Jacob: WR Devonta Smith, Alabama

Cade: WR Devonta Smith, Alabama

Colin: OT Penei Sewell, Oregon

After moving down from the third overall pick with the 49ers, it was clear that the Miami Dolphins were going to be content with Tua Tagovailoa under center, for now at least.

Had the Dolphins wanted to take a quarterback, they would’ve stayed put.

However, the interesting part for the Dolphins was their move to trade with the Eagles to move back up in the draft to the sixth overall pick.

It is clear that the Dolphins knew that there is going to be someone elite that they don’t want to miss out on. Our analysts believe that the best route for the Dolphins to go is to get a playmaker for Tua and the Dolphins’ offense. Whether that be the hometown hero in Kyle Pitts out of Florida or reuniting Devonta Smith with his former college quarterback is yet to be seen.

The Dolphins are likely done making moves in the first round of the Draft and will almost certainly take this pick on Draft night.
