The New England Patriots have been one of the teams most linked to possibly trade up rumors this offseason.
Despite the Patriots bringing back Cam Newton to an upgraded contract over last year, the Patriots could still make the move for a quarterback. While it will be exciting to see what Cam could do with an improved offense in New England and a much-needed offseason with the team, his stats from last year were not inspiring.
If the team cannot find a way to make the move up, it is a complete toss-up as to who the Patriots could select.
If no quarterbacks are available, look for the Patriots to select a young corner just in case they decide to move on from Stephon Gilmore or if he is no longer performing up to his Defensive Player of the Year status.
