The Jaguars find themselves in a similar situation as the New York Jets.

The Jaguars have already secured their face of the franchise earlier in the night with Trevor Lawrence and now will look to improve around him.

After making a slew of moves in free agency, it seems almost certain that the Jaguars will look to target one of their few needs left in the Draft.

On paper, one of the biggest needs for the Jaguars is safety. This was one of the weakest positions for the team in 2020, along with the secondary as a whole.
Trevon Moehrig out of TCU has been shooting up Draft boards following a great junior and sophomore season at TCU.

Moehrig is a rangy player who would pair nicely Andrew Wingard, a player who quietly had a solid season in 2020 for the Jaguars. Moehrig would allow Wingard to move over to strong safety and have a much more comfortable fit on the backend of Urban Meyers’ defense.
