AJ: 2-14
Houston Texans
Shawn: 10-6
AJ: 6-10
Indianapolis Colts
Shawn: 8-8
AJ: 11-5
Tennessee Titans
Shawn: 10-6
AJ: 10-6
After the offseason explosion of the Jacksonville Jaguars, this race is going to come down to the Colts, Titans, and the Texans. After an appearance in the AFC Championship game in 2019, the Titans are clearly in the drivers seat of the AFC South.
AFC North:
Baltimore Ravens
Shawn: 12-4
AJ: 13-3
Pittsburgh Steelers
Shawn: 10-6
AJ: 9-7
Cleveland Browns
Shawn: 7-9
AJ: 9-7
Cincinnati Bengals
Shawn: 6-10
AJ: 7-9
Baltimore retained 2019 MVP Lamar Jackson and only added pieces around him. While the Steelers get back Ben Roethlisberger from injury and the Bengals invested the number 1 overall pick in LSU star QB Joe Burrow, the Ravens are clearly on top of the division.
AFC WEST
Denver Broncos:
Shawn: 9-7
AJ: 8-8
Las Vegas Raiders:
Shawn: 8-8
AJ: 6-10
Kansas City Chiefs:
Shawn: 13-3
AJ: 13-3
Los Angeles Chargers:
Shawn: 6-10
AJ: 4-12
After a fantastic offseason, the Chiefs look to repeat as Super Bowl winners. While every team looks like they are taking a step in the right direction, the Chargers are just waiting until Joe Burrow takes over, while the Broncos see if Drew Locke is the real deal. Down in Las Vegas, the Raiders are still waiting for early 2000’s Jon Gruden to appear.
AFC EAST:
Buffalo Bills:
Shawn: 11-5
AJ: 10-6
New England Patriots:
Shawn: 10-6
AJ: 9-7
Miami Dolphins:
Shawn: 5-11
AJ: 7-9
New York Jets:
Shawn: 7-9
AJ: 3-13
The Tom Brady era in New England is over and there is finally an opportunity for a new king of the AFC East. The Bills look like the likely successors while the Jets flounder in mediocrity and the Dolphins are taking their time with rookie Tua Tagovailoa. The Patriots lost a lot of pieces but were able to bring in former MVP Cam Newton, however.
NFC North:
Minnesota Vikings
Shawn: 10-6
AJ: 10-6
Green Bay Packers
Shawn: 10-6
AJ: 9-7
Detroit Lions
Shawn: 7-9
AJ: 9-7
chicago Bears
Shawn: 5-11
AJ: 4-12
How much will the selection of Jordan Love affect Aaron Rodgers? Will it reignite the former MVP play? Will the Vikings young secondary be enough to help them win the division? The Lions will be getting back Matt Stafford and had a fantastic draft this offseason and look to finally go on a playoff run. Meanwhile, the Bears are still riding with Mitch Trubisky.
NFC South:
Tampa bay Buccaneers
Shawn: 11-5
AJ: 11-5
New Orleans Saints
Shawn: 12-4
AJ: 10-6
Carolina Panthers
Shawn: 7-9
AJ: 4-12
Atlanta Falcons
Shawn: 9-7
AJ: 8-8
The NFC South is suddenly the most intriguing division in the NFL. We will get to watch the duel between two hall of Fame quarterbacks in Drew Brees and NFC South newcomer Tom Brady for the top of the division. All the while trying to fend off the Falcons as well as Christian McCaffery’s Panthers.
NFC East:
dallas Cowboys:
Shawn: 10-6
AJ: 10-6
philadelphia Eagles:
Shawn: 9-7
AJ: 10-6
new york Giants:
Shawn: 6-10
AJ: 3-13
Washington Football Team:
Shawn: 5-11
AJ: 4-12
This division will come down to the Cowboys and Eagles. Dak Prescott will be looking to prove the Cowboys wrong for not extending him throughout the offseason while Carson Wentz will be looking to prove that he can put together a full season with the Eagles.
NFC West:
Seattle Seahawks:
Shawn: 11-5
AJ: 10-6
San Francisco 49ers:
Shawn: 9-7
AJ: 10-6
Arizona Cardinals:
Shawn: 10-6
AJ: 10-6
Los Angeles Rams:
Shawn: 8-8
AJ: 8-8
While the 49ers were not able to close out the Super Bowl in 2019, they look to put it all together this season. Their division got much better as the Seahawks are still looking to make it back to the Super Bow. The division also hosts a much improved Arizona team, as well as the Rams who are looking to bounce back big time from 2019.
